"Tiny and quirky corner restaurant. We came for breakfast on a Saturday and it was hopping but we were immediately sat. We did have to wait almost 10 min for someone to come grab our drinks.
My husband ordered the hot chocolate. Delicious, thick and creamy just like ones I’ve had in Europe. He also ordered the chocolate croissant. I would pass on this. It wasn’t flaky, a bit overcooked and dense for a croissant. I’d suggest Copper Crust in York instead if that’s what you’re after.
We both ordered the Croque Madame. It was delicious. Perfectly grilled, the egg on mine was great but my husbands was overcooked. I think we could’ve split the meal as I only ate 1/2 and he ate 2/3. The potatoes and side salad were just ok.
We’d come back and try other food here again!"
