"Rachel was referred to us by a dear friend. Our design style is a bit different than what is currently popular. We collect antiques so we wanted someone who would understand the look we were going for.
The home we purchased is 90 years old and needed updates to the primary bath and kitchen. I should say needed a whole new primary bath.
We had two small bathrooms that butted up against each other. Rachel was able to come up with a design that fit the style of our home by combining the two bathrooms but including all updated amenities. We absolutely love it and have had so many compliments.
The kitchen was next. We did not want to tear any walls down. We love our more formal dining room and use it all the time. Also we have a morning room for more casual eating. So, we did not want a huge kitchen with a massive island. What she came up with is , in a word, beautiful! She was able to incorporate an antique stepback cupboard into the design. Words can't describe it. We love it.
