"Delicious local fare! They had a dish called "ham balls" as a special of the day. I'm up for adventure, so I tried it, and I wasn't disappointed! Wow, they're good! Basically, they're minced ham, formed into generously-sized balls (at least 2" in diameter), with pineapple sauce on top. They came with "pineapple filling," which tastes like bread pudding, but with pineapple mixed in. I could totally imagine having that, not as a side, but as dessert, topped with a scoop of ice cream! I didn't realize what it was when I ordered it, so, along with the custom side (I chose their yummy potato cakes), I ordered an extra side of veggies. The complementary white rolls they brought out tasted homemade (definitely not the cheap stuff). Needless to say, I couldn't finish everything, so I had to wrap up the leftovers (along with two extra ham balls) to go. Our server Deneen was really sweet, too. She answered our questions nicely and was perfectly attentive."
