"First: this is a private club, and we were there as guests of a member. That said, there is a liberal guesting policy, and there are some public events.
I love when I can get to the Liederkranz, and I've been visiting as a guest for years, even when they were in the old location on Water Street. The food is exceptional German cuisine, and the beer a broad selection of German classics, American mainstream, and craft, well kept and cared for. There are German specialty liquors as well.
But the real attraction is the spirit and atmosphere. We always feel welcome here. Great people, staff and members.
If I lived only an hour away, I'd apply for membership tomorrow. Prosit!"
