"I read some of the other reviews about this hotel, but our experience was nothing like others had posted. We were warmly greeted at the front desk and were able to check into the room early. Our room was in the Carriage House overlooking the pond. We could see the geese and ducks swimming around the pond. Very relaxing. The room was excellent! The bed was really comfortable. The room was clean and everything looked fresh and new. The bathroom was also very nice. The breakfast room was small because the resort had a fire and was in the process of rebuilding the property. The chef prepared a Belgian Waffle for me and Creme Brulee French Toast for my wife. They were delicious and fresh. The servers made sure we had coffee and juice and were very helpful. Once the restaurant is rebuilt, we will definitely stay again!"
