"One of the best spots in the county to bird, enjoy nature, or soak up the beaty of the Susquehanna! LCSWMA does a fantastic job with the upkeep of this park. The preserve consists of a number of interlocking trails, which wind through grasslands, wetlands, forested areas, and lead to an incredible overlook of the Susquehanna. This trail system allows the visitor to choose the length and level of difficulty of their hike, which means Chestnut Grove is great for anyone no matter their experience or level of activity. One note: watch for ticks! They love the habitat, so be sure to check yourself after visiting." - Rainer B.
