"This place is great! The name is kinda deceiving, it isn’t really a park, but more like a nature reserve type area. I went with my father, sister, and her boyfriend and we had a great time. We hiked to the stream and omg there was SO MUCH petrified wood. For any fossil hunters out there, this place is a gold mine! (Let’s keep it to ourselves though ) If you picked up a random rock from the stream, like 90% chance it’s petrified wood. It’s insane. My sister and father tried to fish, but the water was too shallow in most areas. I did see a few crayfish though. Highly recommend for hikes/fossil hunting!" - Pet M.
