"I moved here from Florida to be closer to my children and granddaughter. I had sold two homes in Florida and needed to purchase a home here in Lancaster County, PA. After working with a realtor and seeing homes that were in my price range. The homes, either were too small or in need of major updating. Super frustrating. After a Christmas party and discussing my frustration with the market, my sister in law suggested either a mobile home or manufactured home. I totally shot her down! She said don’t be so negative, look before I say no. I took her advice and started at one end of Lincoln Highway and proceeded east and stopped at 3 companies. I was amazed at how nice the homes were. Last stop was Patriot Home Sales, Inc. I parked and walked into one of the model homes and accidentally intruded upon Salesman, Ray Brown and a prospective customer. I apologized for my intrusion and was told the sales center was over around the corner. I waited for Ray. Once he was free, I explained my situation and was told that he could help me. I wanted to move into a home by the end of the year (2023). I was staying in an AirBNB and you know how expensive that can be. Ray told me he had a double wide manufactured home, ready to go. He gave me the code to home and I asked if could let him know what I thought. I went, liked what I saw, but was concerned that my large china cabinet nor my 65” TV would fit. He said no problem, they will extend a wall to accommodate both. NO CHARGE!! I moved into my new home on December 29, 2023. By the end of the year!! Kudos to Patriot Home Sales and Ray Brown!! Super happy about house-hate the cold and snow. I got a bigger, brand new home for half the price of a “regular” home that needed additional repairs, maintenance and updating. Don’t wrinkle your nose until you see the available homes and floor plans!" - Michele J.
